Wedding Pictures at Southpointe Waterfall | Tom & Jen

I initially met Tom a year ago at a wedding I  had photographed.  I remember seeing him with Jen during the reception and thought that they looked really in love.  So you can imagine my pleasant surprise when I received an email from Jen inquiring about my availability for their date.  During our engagement session I got to know them a little better.  I can say without a doubt that they are both the sweetest and nicest people ever.  I was really looking forward to their wedding day.

How gorgeous is this dress?  The only way it looked better was when Jen had it on! Wowee!

Bridesmaids helping out.

So dapper.  Tom and Jen do a great job holding poses for pictures.

Now THAT’S a first kiss!!!

Great looking wedding party!

Cathedral length veils= great wedding images!

This is so genuine.  This is their happiness.

Beautiful cake design!

The Timberhouse at Rolling Acres Wedding Ceremony & Reception | Ryan & Blaire

During our engagement session last year I got to know Blaire and Ryan.  Blaire is the sweetest.  She is always smiling, always bubbly.  And Ryan totally loves her.  These two are the bestest of friends and totally soul mates.  From what I heard on the wedding day- they have been together since high school.  It is such a beautiful thing to see two people so in love after such a long time together.  Their wedding party was a blast too!  They were all good friends.  And you know what that means— Jokes, stories, the works.  Always my favorite.  I mean, who doesn’t want to crack up AND take pictures all day.  I was in heaven…

Of course I would see a wood pile and think, “this would be the perfect spot to photograph Blaire’s black, patent shoes!”  Welcome to the mind of an artist 😉

These awesome earrings were hanging from a candle jar.  The most out of the ordinary objects can make for fascinating backgrounds.

He had to walk to the back of the house, down a hill, down wooden steps in the hill and over to Blaire- all while blindfolded… camo-blindfolded

She loves him!

We had some time before the ceremony so we went to Brady’s Run Park for some pre-cermeony pics.

This old ARMY truck just happened to be in someones backyard.  And apparently you can buy these trucks off of ebay.  I learned that from the groomsmen.

Gotta high-five after being announced as husband and wife! =)

‘T is I, groomsmen!  ‘T is I!  You’ll have to ask them about that one!  Funniest ever!

Lens flare?  Yes, please.

Very neat and contemporary cake topper.

This candy table lasted 1.2 seconds.

Epic shot captured by my 2nd shooter, Renee.

Now that’s happiness and love! =)

Wedding Pictures at Mellon Park | Wedding Reception at The Priory | Dustin & Lindsay

I hadn’t met Dustin and Lindsay until their wedding day- but we had already talked over the phone and were able to build a great rapport.  The first time I spoke with Lindsay on the phone I believe we chatted for hours.  We discussed our tastes, what sort of images we liked the best and discovered that we shared a lot of the same ideas.  Throughout the wedding planning process we remained in touch.  I was so excited that their wedding day had arrived so I could finally meet this beautiful couple.

To pay homage to her obsession with the Real Housewives all of Lindsay’s bridesmaids are wearing a tank which reads, “The Real Bridesmaids of Lindsay’s Wedding.”  Cute idea.

The natural light in the church was just beautiful.

The ceremony was very emotional and heartfelt.

I love this.  They’re good dippers!  An art that is hard to master 😉

For these images I told them that I was going to get close and I wanted them all over each other.  I think this was their favorite part of shooting.  They were kissing and embracing.  It was such a genuine moment.

The day was perfect!  I had a wonderful time!
