Sheri and Derrick did such a fantastic job during their engagement shoot. They were pro’s from the beginning =) The evening had fallen upon us and we began to shoot!
The sun had just tucked behind the trees. I was able to get a nice glow on their skin.

So, all this talk from me about sunny days this, sunny days that… and it rained! Clayton and Jaclyn traveled all the way from Erie to shoot their engagement session and it was raining. We had to shoot! There was no way that I was going to make them come all the way back to the city. Good thing they are the nicest sweetest people ever- the rain didn’t even bother them one bit! =)

We were able to sneak out from cover for just a minute. It was raining the whole time =( But, I love these shots. Raining = nobody walking around = great pictures!
We headed down to Penn Station. This is another one of my “bad weather” options. Between Feb and April is really the only time I can shoot here.
Clayton and Jaclyn did such a good job and remained in such good spirits even with the rain. They have an amazing wedding venue and I am so very anxious to be photographing them again in June!

Mary contacted me a couple of months ago inquiring about an engagement session. Her and Jacob are actually getting married in Alabama next month. I LOVE engagement sessions, so I was very happy to accommodate her request =)
I have been scheduling almost ALL of my sessions for 530pm or later because of how sunny it has been. The sun was setting as we began shooting at Mellon Park. It was just beautiful!

Let me explain this one- ha ha. We were in the middle of shooting and this cute dog wanted to make a cameo. He didn’t really come to any of us, he just wanted to be in front of the camera. I thought it was the funniest thing.
