Jonathan & Brandy

I met Brandy last year while doing a wedding at the country club that she works at, Montour Heights Country Club.  Coincidentally, I just booked her childhood friend.  We immediately bonded.  Plus, she was the nicest events manager at a venue that I had ever worked at =)  To make a long story short, she had asked me a few months later to photograph her own wedding.  I was so honored that she would have selected  me.

The day came before we knew it and I arrived at her parent’s house for pictures.  Her dress was gorgeous, her jewelry was gorgeous and she was gorgeous.  She was a lot of fun to shoot.  She knew how to strike a pose in front of my lens. =)

The ceremony was beautiful and her and Jonathan radiated love.  It was very warming to see a couple at the altar beaming from ear to hear and barely able to keep their hands off of one another.  After the service we headed right up the street to take some pictures in front of their restaurant Alla Famiglia.  It had started to rain (ok, torrentially downpour) but I was able to get some nice images with them using an umbrella.  I always love props!!!

We packed up and started off towards the reception.  Brandy and Jonathan decided to have their party at the country club.  I thought this was a great idea because Brandy was already so familiar with it and with all of it’s potential.  Boy, did she outdo herself.  It was too beautiful for words.  Tents, fabric, chandelier, flowers…

The photographers on the grounds are breathtaking.  Simply breathtaking.

The night ended with a fireworks display that Jonathan had planned as a surprise for Brandy.  It was amazing and memorable.

I had a great day and I am so happy that I got to share it with the new Mr. & Mrs Vlasic.

  1. […] I recently discovered that one of my weddings from last season is featured in this December issue of WHIRL Magazine.  This is an incredible honor!  We are very proud.  Please see the full preview of Brandy and Jonathan Vlasic HERE. […]
