If you are looking for a wedding space that is urban and contemporary with a completely different vibe, I’ve got just the place! J. Verno Studios, located on the historic South Side, is the answer for those couples that want the intimate feel of inviting guests to your posh downtown loft. This studio space has so much to offer with 4 different studios to choose from. Or, if you prefer, rent the entire space for a large wedding celebration.

Verno is laid out as multiple contemporary condos, each with its own modern and clean furnishings. The building itself was constructed in the late 1800’s and has it’s own cool, industrial vibe, yet on the inside it is hip, current and chic.

Studio A is a versatile space that can be decorated and dressed to meet the couple’s unique specifications. Consider it your blank canvas. This space has been transformed into countless themes and designs. All you need to do is ask and J. Verno studios can show you a gallery of images showcasing this space’s potential.

Studio B is simply stunning. It features a curved bar with soft white lighting and surrounding standing tables, an open seating area with white paneled walls, high vaulted ceilings, wood floors, and a fireplace for the perfect ambience. The wall art adds accent colors of red and yellow, creating a vibrant, upbeat mood. Bright white continues into the kitchen with a wall of glass door fridges and white cabinets. The flex space has floor to ceiling windows oversized entryways and a huge, long, white table perfect for a buffet.

Studio C acts as more of an overflow space that can be utilized for seating or wedding photography purposes. If you want some original wedding photography you can utilize this space’s exposed stonewall or bright red wall as backdrops.

Level 3 Studio is an open and flexible space with gorgeous light wood floors, cozy seating near the fireplace, and opaque windows that let in just the right amount of light. It also has a kitchen space for your wedding caterers or your guests’ use.

Verno Studios charges a rental fee for the space and brides and grooms are required to arrange all tables, linens, decorations, alcohol, and food for their reception. This adds flexibility and the ability to personalize the space. The wedding couple can also control their expenses based on their choices.
