Bella Sera

You may only be 25 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, but you will feel like you’ve been whisked away to the Tuscan countryside. Bella Sera is located on 4 acres in Canonsburg PA. The Tuscan architecture, design, and overall feel of this venue is anything but ordinary. From the high ceilings to the stunning staircase, to the 22-foot rock fireplace, Bella Sera is an award-winning wedding venue that will have your guests talking long after your wedding day.

Choose from Bella Sera’s two event rooms, both are equally beautiful but with slightly different ambiance. The Grande Room is the larger of the two and can easily hold up to 400 guests. The room is open and alluring with Tuscan wall coverings and warm lighting, and we can’t forget the fireplace. The twenty-two foot stone fireplace is the focal point of the room. Oftentimes, the wedding ceremony takes place right in front of it.

The second room is the Minore Room, perfect for slightly smaller, more intimate gatherings. The Tuscan flair is alive and well in this room and with the slightly smaller size it is warm and inviting while still making a statement of its own.

The Bella Sera is owned and operated by Jason Capps, an executive chef with a passion for fine food. This passion has led to the successful operation of the nationally recognized Bella Serra restaurant and catering and the Bistro by Bella Sera—authentic Italian cuisine and fine wine, just like you’d find in Tuscany.

There are countless spots inside the 18,000 square foot facility that are romantic and breathtaking backdrops for wedding pictures. The balcony and staircase are a couple of my favorites. The grounds are also beautiful and we take gorgeous shots outside, year-round.

The name Bella Sera means “Beautiful Night” in Italian. This is a perfect name for this venue.
